  Tio Dan Cafe came from another older store down the street from Round Rock Donuts. It was greasy, and dated, and I LOVED IT! The new store is pretty, clean, and the food tastes a little different. Probably needs a few years to get that greasy spoon flavor locked in. The food is still good, it just lacks the greasy spoon depth that you get with older restaurants. Had their menudo for the first time today. It was good. It needed a little salt, and maybe a few more hours, but it was good. Their dishes are plentiful, and the fish tasty. Breakfast is adequate. No complaints there either. Pricing is good. They're not trying to take you for everything you have. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of seating. You never have to wait long in line. Always courteous staff. Tio Dan's is still a winner.

  The burgers here are delicious, very underrated and overlooked as most people get tacos here since they changed the name. The staff is very friendly and there are plenty of seats. They are now giving out chips and salsa if you're dining in. I'm not a big fan of there tacos, but their burger is awesome. Same burger as Little Red Wagon. Good deal as well.

  My favorite local Mexican food spot to go to. The food is great and the prices are too! Everything I tried from the enchiladas, to breakfast plates and tacos were amongst the best I have eaten. You have to try a puffy taco also. More menu items sit.on a display on the counter.

  Use to absolutely love this place but yesterday we ordered "extensively" via telephone and were extremely disappointed. We ordered whitefish and they gave us catfish (TWICE) as I had to go back. They forgot the cold slaw and Texas toast which I went back a third time for. When I pointed out to them that the fish was not whitefish that it was catfish they openly LIED to me and insisted it was whitefish. I'm a Texan who fishes I know catfish when I see it and taste it but they refused to give me what I ordered. Not because they didn't have it but because they thought it was funny to "put one over on the people that had the "nerve" to complain to begin with" The fried oysters that we purchased were bad and made my mother in law sick as a dog. This place is quickly going down hill. If they numbered their menu the cashier who takes the orders wouldn't get so confused. It was a harrowing experience that I'm NOT looking to repeat. May never go back there again. We may give them one more chance to win back our business but as it stands we spent over $50 on that one order and the food abd the service were pathetic. I greatly hope they improve at least for their own sakes. I don't see them in business long if they keep up this level of disappointment...........

  Delicious breakfast tacos, and the salsas has a great flavor and kick to them! I’ve been coming to Tio Dan’s for close to 10 years when it used to be the old one before it burned down. This new location is much nicer, cleaner, and most importantly same great tacos! Definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Staff is usually always nice, only thing that bugs me is the phone service, but not worth deducting a star for. Update: I initially said I wouldn’t deduct a star, but this was the third time in the past two weeks I’ve been here and the lady at the register has been rude answering the phone and now when I was picking up an order was rude as well. Food gets people to go to a restaurant, but the service is what keeps you there... Not tempting to come when I get bad service...
